It makes sense that the popular and violent title would be a perfect match for Grand Theft Auto Online, particularly due to the game's modding community. Squid Game has been an extremely popular release for Netflix, with the intense thriller bursting its way into popular culture. This humorous video nonetheless shows off how flexible GTA V and Online can be, with creative modders implementing various original concepts. One particularly popular creation is a GTA V Mortal Kombat mod which allows Scorpion and Sub-Zero to face off over a cheating wife. Some mods even allow other beloved video game franchises to cross over with Rockstar Games' crime series, just as Squid Game did. Grand Theft Auto players constantly strive to create original mod experiences, sometimes using GTA Online as a platform. YouTuber Vadact uploaded a video demonstrating one of the more in-depth Squid Game servers that fans have created, which includes a number of the show's deadly games. Other servers simply use GTA Online's base map, with one player using a microphone to bark orders while allies armed with machine guns shoot anyone who fails to follow them. Some player-made maps recreate the show's terrifying battlefield, complete with its large, iconic and unsettling animatronic doll. Many of these servers focus on the show's "Red Light, Green Light" challenge, which appears in the very first episode. Squid Game has been compared to Mario Party, with players competing to survive different mini-games though, luckily, the Nintendo series does not have fatal consequences for losers. The series has found great success since its launch on September 17, and many viewers now strive to recreate the experience safely through video games. While a massive cash reward is offered, each game also has deadly consequences for those unable to complete its challenge. Netflix's newest original smash hit, Squid Game, sees financially struggling citizens invited to participate in a mysterious series of games - seemingly innocent games - that turn out to be lethal. While the popular title is no stranger to third-party software and mods, many GTA Online mods have been shut down over the past year due to an abundance of cheaters plaguing the title. Rockstar Games' open-world multiplayer title launched in 2013, while Netflix's South Korean survival drama just recently aired on the streaming platform. A number of new Grand Theft Auto Onlinemods allow players to participate in Squid Game-style challenges.
